About Aspects Counselling

Megan Templeton is a qualified counselling therapist in Timaru, Mackenzie District, and South Canterbury helping clients with anxiety, depression, grief, problem solving, personal development, relationships, and anger management. Counselling sessions are confidential. Your information and personal story will be regarded with dignity, and addressed in an honest and professional manner.

Counselling is working to discover habits that increase self-esteem, self-acceptance and self-confidence. Sessions address your expectations, and support you through your personal transition. Counselling helps clients recognise issues, manage situations, and develop life skills for moving forward successfully.

As well as providing support to navigate life, therapy addresses concerns and issues to make positive changes, and bring self-empowerment. Together, we explore strategies to identify and work toward your desired outcomes.

What makes us different

Megan Templeton initially trained as a Neuromuscular Therapist, and through this came to realize the therapeutic value of counselling. I have been working as a therapist for over 20 years. In 2008, I was inspired to further educate myself and obtain a Bachelor of Counselling to become a fully qualified and professional counsellor. Narrative Therapy and Inner Child Work are particular passions for me, and have proven to be of regular success. I was born in Timaru and reside in the Mackenzie district. Currently, I offer online therapy to ensure everyone effected by Covid has access to counselling.
