Waverley Health is the merger of Larnach Surgery and Waverley Health Centre. We are excited to welcome our current and new patients into our new, modern and purpose built premises.

Our friendly team is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm and provide personal, family and community - oriented healthcare for all ages. We provide children under 6 with free healthcare.

We have 2 long term permanent GP's which gives you the benefit of a regular personal GP. Dr Paul Sabonadiere will be familiar to many of you and we welcome Dr Rahul Prasad to the team. Rahul replaces Dr Paul Johns and is proving very popular with the patients. Rahul also offers skin checks and skin lesion removals. Dr Astrid Windfuhr is available on Thursday afternoons for those who wish to see a female GP. Dr Sabonadiere is also available for clinics in Macandrew Bay.

We recommend that our patients have regular personal health checks so that we can discuss with you how to keep yourself healthy throughout your life. These health checks include talking to you about any current health issues, questioning you about any symptoms you may have, reviewing past medical problems, discussing with you significant family medical problems and reviewing general lifestyle issues like diet, exercise and smoking behaviour.

Margaret our practice nurse offers a wide range of nursing services including flu vaccinations, blood pressure monitoring, diabetes monitoring, cardiovascular checks, dressings, immunisations, smoking cessation, cervical smears and advice about healthy living.

As Waverley Health is part of the Southern PHO we are able to use Government subsidies to reduce consultation fees for patients who are enrolled and registered with us.
