Pet Doctors Thorndon is a relatively small clinic and growing under the direction of Dr Eve, our lead Veterinarian, and Virginia our Senior Nurse and Team Leader. We also have Drs Tracy and Rachel, and nurses Fiona, Mollie and Olivia. Our vets collectively draw on more than 40 years of experience whilst the nurses have clocked up over 35 years, so theyre catching the vets up fast!! Its an all-female clinic and, whilst this is not by design, it is quite fitting because the clinic sits in the shadow of the Kate Sheppard apartments and the Beehive, servicing the community who live and work in the business district of Wellington. Our community also extends along the dockside of the City right up to the foothills of the Rimutakas and even up the Kapiti Coast. We are close to the CBD and welcome drop-offs before work with no additional charge. We see mainly dogs and cats, and have a growing number of pocket pets and exotics, which is super fun because it reflects the staffs own menagerie. Our clinic is three years old and we are excited to be branching out to offer extra services to the Wellington region, including welcoming Dr Angela Hartman, a specialist in radiology and ultrasonography.
