Blair Parnwell the managing director has been a professional painter since 1997 after serving an apprenticeship of 6000 hours working with great craftspeople, focusing on painting and decorating and specialised coatings. After completing his apprenticeship he was proud to be selected, out of the top young tradespeople in the country, to attend the Paintercraft Trust Advanced Business Course, for which he was awarded a diploma. He has also completed NZ Master Painters courses on Pacific, Ashley and Vision wallpapers, Nuplex Coating and Floor Coating Finishes, Airless Spraying Techniques, Resene Profession Development Programme and Accredited Contractor for Management of Lead Based Paints. These days Blair and his wife Ellie are active in the daily operation of the business. Blair personally manages his team of highly qualified and experienced painters to ensure Parnwell Paintings high standards are always maintained. This has raised Parnwell Painting to be the industry leader in the Nelson painting market. Blair and Ellie are always working to provide their clients with a stress free painting experience.
