Novadown, New Zealands leading brand for European inspired duvets and pillows, was founded in the 1980's in Auckland, New Zealand. In 2001 Novadown was purchased by Ellis Fibre, one of New Zealands most innovative bedding companies and the founder of the famous Ellis Fibre Original Lavender pillow, and was relocated to Dunedin on New Zealand's beautiful South Island. The companys focus on luxury and comfort was emphasized even more when Novadown introduced the most luxurious of all downs - the Hungarian goose down - to the New Zealand market. Encouraged by the success of its Hungarian goose down pillows and duvets, Novadown went out to find other unique and exceptional materials that would offer their customers the ultimate sleeping experience. As a result, Novadown now also offers bedding products made from Alpaca, Bamboo, as well as Down Alternative for especially sensitive people.
