Now we have a team of people working with us from our Head Office at 10 Cargill Place Richmond. We moved into the premises in Cargill Place in Richmond in 1996. This base is central to support the range of industry we have in our Nelson area, horticulture, timber and fishing. Here we have a full workshop and steam cleaning facility. We also have space for an extensive range of parts for all makes and models of forklifts. There is also our display yard for demonstration of our forklifts and our offices. Over the years we have seen many changes, in staff and in products/agencies. Nelson Forktrucks Ltd now operate independently and travel though out the South Island on regular trips, and even sometimes travel to the North Island to service clients and our Hire forklifts in the area. NFL have an extensive Rental Fleet of forklifts - available on short or long term Hire - 1 hour to five years, Petrol/LPG, Diesel and Electric machines to choose from 1.5 - 12 tonnes and all of these machines have a Full Safety Compliance and are regularly maintained. We offer sales of all back up products for forklifts - batteries, forks, tyres, lift chain, seats, seat belts, flashing lights etc. Nelson Forktrucks Ltd - your one stop forklift shop. Our staff carry all their own PPSE, first aid kit (and qualified as first aiders) fire extinguisher, spill kits plus all the tools for the job. We have all of our electrical equipment and chains tested as per the standard. Our technicians are qualified, all have current OSH cert and "F" endorsements for the forklift license.
