Got a toothache? Want to be seen today? Call us, we can probably help. Happy Teeth is a modern, family-friendly dental practice offering all aspects of routine dental care. Our first priority will always be to our routine regular patients, however we keep a limited number of on-the-day appointments for emergencies, and new patients are always welcome. We strive to make dental care a positive experience, and greet all patients with a friendly smile. We aim to provide the highest levels of service and are conveniently located in New Plymouth's CBD, within a short distance of the Downtown and Centre City car-parks. We are an authorised ACC provider able to complete accident reports forms, register accidents and provide treatment on behalf of ACC. We are registered with Work and Income New Zealand and able to provide WINZ estimates for emergency treatment. (Co-payments may be required for some services). We are registered with the Ministry of Health to provide free routine dental services to all young people aged 13 years to 18 years old. (Registration required) We especially welcome High School students, please see below regarding our "Think happy teeth, think Happy Teeth for life" programme. Locally owned and operated since first opening our doors, our regular patients know we care. In line with current legislation, Happy Teeth Dental Practice has in place a Child Protection Policy which complies with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014. The full policy is available as a hard copy at the Practice, and the purpose of the Policy is to provide our staff with a framework to identify and manage suspected and/or actual child abuse and neglect. All workers at Happy Teeth Dental Practice are safety checked in accordance with the Vulnerable Children (Requirements for Safety Checks of Childrens Workers) Regulations 2015, to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation.
