The Green Island Medial Centre is located in the heart of Green Island.

Our friendly team is available Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm and they will provide personal, family and community oriented healthcare for all ages. Dr Neil Bungard, Dr Salil Elias, Dr Wan Salim, Dr Daniel Then, Dr Nigel Thompson and Dr Astrid Windfuhr are our 6 long term permanent doctors who provide our patients the benefit of a regular personal GP.

We recommend that our patients have regular personal health checks so that we can discuss with you how to keep yourself healthy throughout your life. These health checks include talking to you about any current health issues, questioning you about any symptoms you may have, reviewing past medical problems, discussing with you significant family medical problems and reviewing general lifestyle issues like diet, exercise and smoking behaviour.

The Green Island Medical Centre is part of the Well South Primary Health Organisation which means that we are able to use Government subsidies to reduce consultation fees for patients who are enrolled and registered with us. If you would like to register as a patient at Green Island, please contact our friendly receptionists and they will let you know what is required and give you the necessary forms to complete.

Our practice nurse team offers a wide range of nursing services including:

Our appointments are usually made at 15 minute intervals. Extra time is required for special services such as insurance examinations, and minor surgery. Our 'Text 2 Remind' service allows you to receive information such as reminders of your upcoming appointment.
