About Fendalton Foot Clinic
At Fendalton Foot Clinic we are your friendly, thorough foot care team who specialise in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of foot problems.
Our team is led by principal podiatrist Juliann Simeonidis, who with Kirsten Harvey and Pippa Pettigrew can help diagnose and treat a range of concerns including corns, calluses and difficult toenail problems. We are able to perform minor ingrown toenail surgery at our clinic and are also able to assist with injuries such as heel pain, arch pain, ankle pain, tendinoses (Achilles), knee pain and assess your walking and running gait by analysing - how your feet and legs function in relation to the ground.
We cater for all people of all ages from the elderly to the young paediatric patient as young as 12 months old.
All 3 of us are currently active in sport, particularly running, cycling (both road and MTB) and have competed in various half marathons, multisport events such as Coast to Coast and more recently World age group champs in Duathlon. We are aware of 'niggling' sports injuries that can escalate if not seen to promptly and having suffered problems ourselves from time to time, we have the knowledge and experience to put you right!

What makes us different
Founded in 2002, the Fendalton Foot Clinic is owned by myself, Juliann Simeonidis and I'm currently joined by podiatrists Kirsten Harvey and Pippa Pettigrew. We have over 30 years experience between us and we pride ourselves on providing Cantabrians with a thorough foot care service, diagnosing and treating all problems pertaining to the feet such as difficult to cut toenails, ingrown toenails, corns, calluses and sports/biomechanical injuries which may include heel and arch pain, Achilles tendinoses, ankle pain, lower leg discomfort and knee pain.
We provide a large range of temporary foot orthotics, (Formthotics) which we modify specifically to each individual foot as well as the option of permanent, casted orthotics. We don't just 'throw' an orthotic at our patients and send them out the door, we also prescribe exercises/stretches to help any muscle imbalances, analyse walking and running gait and offer advice on shoe prescription. We always follow up our patients with orthotics to ensure comfort is being met and painful symptoms are being resolved. This is what sets us apart from other podiatrists.
We are also stockists of the beautiful 'Gehwol' foot cream range manufactured in Germany.
Gehwol products are developed according to up-to-date research standards and use plant-based substances for the basis of their product which guarantee soft and gentle care for sensitive skin, even diabetics.
