Created within each Bear Park Early Childhood Centre, is a unique and respectful environment that offers children the many opportunities to grow and blossom into competent learners and researchers.

Our environments are carefully prepared and richly resourced to encourage children's creativity and social interactions. There is a love for natural materials throughout the inside and outdoor spaces, which welcomes and offers children the opportunity to explore the wonderful sensory experiences nature has to offer. Attention to detail is important as particular care is taken to design open-ended provocations for the children to encounter.

The Reggio Emilia Philosophy, acknowledging children as unique free-spirited individuals, inspires us. As teachers we explore children's interests and developments alongside them and celebrate this with joy and respect.
In depth investigations abound, where children engage in meaningful experimentation of their own theories, hypothesising, testing and analysing their ideas.

We aspire to ensure a strong sense of self within each child and create a warm sense of belonging for children and their families. We strongly believe that respectful interactions and reciprocal relationships between children, teachers, and parents are at the heart of learning.
