Adventure Development Counselling involves skill development intervention and counselling for young people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives relating to their personal and social development.
The goal of the programme is to assist young people to take more control and responsibility in their lives.
The programme has three elements that link together to assist young people to think and feel differently about themselves and others. It includes individual counselling, family counselling and adventure based counselling.
Any young person aged between 13-19 years who have issues with alcohol or other drugs or a significant mental health issue such as depression is eligible to be part of this programme.
