It has arrived, the day you have been waiting for, this is your day. Slowly you awake from a wonderful sleep-in and ponder, ''What will I do first?'' Perhaps a lovely smoothie or some other favourite drink to start your special day, then a relaxing bubble bath. Now that you have painted your nails that new awesome colour you smile as you realize you're not concerned about that foggy bathroom mirror as it will be taken care of as usual. You raise the volume of your favourite tunes and sing and dance like nobody is watching, an hour has passed and now you answer the door and see your smiling window cleaners and you say to yourself "I'm glad they are here I hate cleaning windows" As you leave them to it you relax knowing they always take great care, however you can't help but chuckle to yourself about those funny shoe covers they wear to keep the carpet clean. Also you remember how much you appreciate those special cloths they use. Now with a nice warm drink and that magazine you have been trying to read for weeks you settle down on the sofa. Before you know it the window cleaners are saying goodbye. "Wow!'' you say as you see the difference to your house that only clean windows can make and you cross off ''clean windows'' from that to do list. Satisfied you mark on the calendar the next window cleaning appointment and then decide to head out to meet the girls down at the cafe, what a blissful day. SOME BACKGROUND ABOUT MYSELF. Hello, my name is Les Ryan and I grew up in Christchurch. I purchased my first business when I was 16 years old, it was a fruit and vegetable shop which I had for a year and then I purchased a fish and chip shop in Cashmere. I then purchased a Greek kebab shop on Stafford Street in Timaru in 1996. I had that for about 18 months and then I moved to Nelson and back to Christchurch, always in food shops. While in these various shops I always kept the windows sparkling as it is vital to have these businesses clean and bright. In 2003/2004 I moved to Waimate, I had a couple of jobs in the wood industry and I had 2 small part time businesses. When I was made redundant from one of these wood factories I decided to start my own window cleaning business. Through hard work and a conscious effort to produce fantastic results the business had grown to a stage that I decided to move to Timaru in 2013. We now have 6 vans on the road with 10 staff in total. We have seen a need for a competitive quality pest control. In early 2015 we added an amazing piece of equipment to our ever expanding business, a gutter cleaning machine that operates from the ground up to 3 stories high, you can see some pictures below. With health and safety laws getting tighter this is a perfect machine for domestic or commercial premises. In late 2016 we added carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning, stain removal and meth (P) testing and decontamination to our services. I look forward to continuing to meet new and current customers as our business keeps growing. We cover from Moeraki to North Canterbury and right up to Omarama and even to Twizel .
